Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Today, I have a review for you for the Valentia Even Glow Serum Vitamin C 20% Antioxidant Treatment. This product promises to even skin tone, increase glow & radiance, absorbs quickly, boosts collagen production, and reduces wrinkles & fine lines. This product is alcohol and paraben free, and is suitable for all skin types.

Before I get into the review, here’s a little info about my skin before serum and my new skin care routine:
  • Dry
  • Flaky
  • Blackheads
  • Acne
  • Hard to keep moisture in
  • Tightness
  • Dull because I don’t wash it as often as I should
In order to put this serum into my routine, I have written down my skin routine to see how this serum really adds to my overall skin health. My routine is as follows:
Skincare Routine
  1. Wet face with lukewarm water.
  2. Apply daily facial cleanser
  3. Work in cleanser with Spa Sonic
  4. Rinse off cleanser
  5. Apply ACV toner
  6. Apply serum alone; no extra moisturizers
  7. Do this consistently for full 30 days, twice a day.
Initial Thoughts: The consistency of the product is very lightweight, and orange and milky tone. The serum smells a little citrusy, which I am assuming the the grapefruit oil extract and the vitamin C. By testing a drop on my hand, I can tell that the product will absorb nicely into the skin without any sticky or funny feeling. I can tell that a little bit will go a long way. I will probably only need two to four drops to cover my entire face evenly for the full benefit. I like that this product has organic ingredients, and I am familiar of how a few of the ingredients react with my skin.
Price: This item is little pricey, at $35 for a 1.18fl oz, or 35ml. From what I see on Amazon, this product is a little more expensive than other Vitamin C serums, but with different ingredients.
Ingredients: Proprietary Organic Skin Tea, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf (Aloe), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Methylsulfonlymethane (MSM), Cassia Angustifolia Seed Polysaccharide (botanical hyaluronicacid), Globularia Cordifolia Callus Culture Extract (plant stem cells), Organic Rosa Canina (Rosehip Seed Oil), Hamamelis Virginians (Witch Hazel), Citrus Paradisi (Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil), Carbomer (2s)-2-Amino-5-guanidinopentanoic Acid, d-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Algae Extract, Camellia Oleifera (Japanese Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Hippophae Rhamoides (Seabuckthorn Oil), Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.
Expectations: I am expecting this product to help my skin remain moisturized through this cold winter as we begin transitioning into spring. Tennessee has been hit with numerous cold spells that we are not used to, so my skin is going haywire. I do not have wrinkles now, but I am hoping this product helps with prevention of wrinkles. For my dry skin, I am expecting to see a 180 change from my super dry skin, to skin that looks radiant and healthy.
I will make sure to keep you all updated on my journey with my first facial serum, so check back for the update. I hope you all found this helpful and I will talk to you again soon!
