Hey guys! Since it is getting cooler outside, I wanted to share my favorite fall/winter scents with you all. For fall/winter, I absolutely love warmer, spicier, and muskier scents in both body scents and candles. A lot of my scents come from Bath and Body Works and since a few of my favorite scents from B&BW come out around this time, I thought it would be appropriate to share this now. These scents are in no particular order.
- Bath and Body Works Twilight Woods: I bought this scent a few years ago around the first time it appeared in my local B&BW for the holidays. I originally purchased this scent for my Mama, but I quickly fell in love with it. The notes in this scent is different for everyone, but this scent also has musky and fruit notes. It reminds me of fall days, walking in the park. I wear this scent more in the winter time than the fall because it can be a heavy scent. This is not light in any way for me, so if you hate strong scents or someone around you hates strong scents, this isn’t the fragrance for you. This scent lingers on the skin, so only wear it if you really and truly love it.
- Bath and Body Works Secret Wonderland: I fell in love with this scent last year. It caught my eye during the Semi-Annual Sale. Before that point, I had never heard of this scent and didn’t know what to expect from it. The biggest pro that led me to this scent: the cost during the sale. I know that is a dumb reason to buy something that you haven’t smelled before, but whatever I wanted it lol. I ordered the triple moisture body cream and the creamy body wash in this scent and when I received both, I knew I made the right choice. This scent is musky, yet sweet. With my body chemistry, I can smell the strawberries in this scent on my skin after the shower when using the body wash and the lotion, but with the et du toilette, I smell more of the musky scent. I alternate this one with Twilight Woods scent. This is one of my go-tos for the fall, but not so much the winter.
- Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel: I love this scent. This smells like sugar cookies to me and reminds me of baking cookies for the holidays. I am a big fan of this scent and I try to stock up the body wash and triple moisture body creams to last me until next winter. This scent is a fan favorite with my fiancé as well; he always smiles and cuddles me whenever I wear this. I associate this with happy times and Christmas time whenever I smell this scent or see it in my beauty pantry. Whenever I need a pick-me-up, I wear this scent. This has to be my all-time favorite scent for the holidays. When it gets closer to Decemeber, I reach for this scent the most. I keep this scent strictly to the holiday season, though it could be used year around. Just watch out for the bugs during the spring/summer times because they may eat you alive.
That’s it. I was going to include photos of these products, but it would be for naught; Bath and Body Works revamps the packaging for their products every year, so I figured knowing the names of the products would be better than seeing the product, ya know? My suggestion: instead of the shower gel, get the creamy body wash. It is a great alternative to using the shower gel because it moisturizes the skin better, at least in my opinion. I hope you all enjoyed this mini post. Don’t forget to let me know your favorite scents for the fall and wintertimes. Until next time, ciao! ♥
